NXT Star Attacked By Masked Assailant At Live Event

WWE NXT Women's Battle Royal

The NXT parking lot is famously an unsafe working environment and now the casualties on the brand have spilled over to its live events.

Dani Palmer is a relative newcomer to NXT having made her debut on the brand in October 2022. Since then Palmer has mainly appeared on the Level Up program, taking on the likes of Thea Hail, Lash Legend, and Lyra Valkyria.

Palmer was slated to form a tag team with athletic standout Sol Ruca but the partnership was over – for now – before it really got started after Ruca suffered a serious knee injury that required surgery and will see her out of action for quite some time.

In recent months Wendy Choo and Nikkita Lyons have also suffered injuries and, in the same vein as Sol Ruca, have been written off television as victims of backstage attacks.

At a live event in Sebring, Florida Dani Palmer defeated Stevie Turner but was then attacked by a mystery hooded assailant. The attacker escaped before security intervened but it looks like the NXT women’s division could be on notice that someone is out for them.

A recent cryptic video aired on NXT television hinting that one person has been behind the recent spate of attacks and Dani Palmer could have simply been in the wrong place at the wrong time.
