“F*ck NJPW” Says G1 Climax Competitor

One of the wrestlers in the NJPW G1 Climax Competitor had some strong words about the company he works for as he prepares for the tournament.

The 33rd edition of NJPW’s G1 Climax will begin this Saturday, July 15th with 32 wrestlers competing in a month-long tournament that will end on August 13th.

Some of NJPW’s biggest names, including Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay, Tetsuya Naito, KENTA and the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion SANADA are in the tournament.

Eddie Kingston of All Elite Wrestling, who recently won the Strong Openweight Championship, will be competing in the G1 Climax tournament for the first time in his 20+ year career.

Another wrestler that will be in the tournament is Gabe Kidd, who has been with NJPW since 2020. At 25 years old, he’s one of the younger wrestlers in the tournament.

On Twitter, Gabe Kidd had some harsh words for New Japan Pro Wrestling for not using him a lot in the last six months.

“Seriously f**k NJPW.

Dedicated my life to this company for what? To be left at home twiddling my thumbs for 6 MONTHS. Whilst these nerds get all the opportunities I deserve. F**k that.

This G1 a lot of eyes will be opened. A lot of eyes. I only feel anger and bitterness towards this company and I’m coming to this G1 to prove what I have always known.”

The four blocks of the tournament look like this. As you can see below, Gabe Kidd is in the A block with seven other wrestlers that he will face in singles action.
