Nikki Bella Reveals Injury Severity; WWE WrestleMania 42 Status Confirmed

Nikki Bella suffered an ankle injury on WWE SmackDown.

The former Divas Champion and her twin sister, Brie, squared off with Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair in a tag team match last Friday on the blue brand.

After taking advantage of Lash Legend’s interference to pick up the victory, The Bella Twins were attacked by The Irresistible Forces. The Women’s Tag Team Champions also assaulted Charlexa before Bayley and Lyra Valkyria came to their rescue.

During the brawl, Nikki was thrown out of the ring, where medics rushed to check on her after she appeared to have sustained an injury. It was later reported that the WWE Hall of Famer had an issue with her ankle.

While shooting a special episode of her and Brie Bella’s podcast, The Nikki & Brie Show, Nikki Bella wore a walking boot. She addressed the topic, revealing that she had sprained her ankle on SmackDown.

The WWE Hall of Famer noted that she will be cleared in 7 to 10 days and would not miss WrestleMania 42.

Despite her injury, Nikki Bella and her twin sister are reportedly set to return to Monday Night RAW tonight. It will mark their first appearance on the red brand since February 2.
