Nick Jackson

Nick Jackson has booked his place on the 4th anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite.

On the 2nd of October 2019, the first-ever edition of AEW Dynamite took place with The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega losing out in the main event to Chris Jericho, Santana, and Ortiz as Jericho formed his Inner Circle at the expense of The Elite.

Now four years later, Nick Jackson of The Young Bucks will be looking to come out on the winning side of things on the 4th of October 2023 edition of AEW’s flagship show as he makes a rare play for singles gold.

On Dynamite in Denver, Nick Jackson was involved in a three-way match to find the next contender for Rey Fenix’s AEW International Championship against Claudio Castagnoli and Brian Cage. Jackson picked up the victory meaning he’ll challenge Fenix in his home state of California.

Jackson’s bout came after Rey Fenix had opened the show with his first defence of the International Title as Jeff Jarrett answered his open challenge. In the end, it was Fenix who came out on top.

Has Nick Jackson ever held singles gold?

Nick Jackson’s exploits in the tag team ranks of several promotions with his brother Matt legendary and The Young Bucks, alongside Hangman Adam Page, currently hold the ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship.

However, during his nearly twenty-year career, the younger Jackson brother has never held a singles title and his match with Rey Fenix will be his first opportunity to claim one during his time in AEW.
