Nia Jax Criticized By WWE Hall Of Famer

Nia Jax WWE Women's Champion

A WWE Hall of Famer believes that Nia Jax could have done something better during the Women’s WarGames match.

The WWE Survivor Series PLE in Vancouver featured two huge WarGames matches. The WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax started the match for her team, which also included Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton (the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase holder), Raquel Rodriguez & Candice LeRae.

That five woman team of heels lost to the babyface team of Rhea Ripley, Bianca Belair, IYO SKY, Naomi, and Bayley when Ripley pinned Morgan to win the match for her team.

While there was a lot to like in the Women’s WarGames Match, there were also parts of the match that fans didn’t like. For example, when chairs were used in the match, some of the women took it easy on their opponents with very light chair shots.

Rikishi is a WWE Hall of Famer who was around when men were known for doing hard chair shots, sometimes to the head, which isn’t allowed now. Most chair shots now are done to the back or the legs.

During his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi was critical of Jax’s chair usage in the match. Rikishi and Jax are related as members of the Anoi’a family, so his critiques likely come from a place of love rather than complaining about the match.

“As a wrestler, I’ll tell you what. As a Samoan, you gotta swing that damn thing.”

“It almost looked like a love tap. I don’t feel like she wanted to swing the chair, but she didn’t want to hurt somebody.”

Rikishi Offers To Show Nia Jax How To Swing a Chair Properly

As Rikishi continued his critique, he encouraged Nia Jax to swing that chair.

“Nia, if you’re listening, next time you grab that chair, It’s okay. Swing that damn thing like Babe Ruth. I want you to knock it out of the park, and if anybody comes to you complaining about it, about the chair shot, well, hey, this is the game that we’re in. This is what it is. If you can’t take a chair shot, well, you are in the wrong business.”

“Who knows the emotion? Is this a friend? What I’m saying is, you gotta put that out from your head when you’re performing.”

The comments with Rikishi even offering to coach Jax at his wrestling school.

“If I hit you with a chair, like, I’m gonna hit you with it, but it doesn’t mean that I’m gonna hit you hard, like I’m mad at you. It’s never that. We gotta protect what we got.”

“You come to KnokX Pro. Let me show you how to swing that chair the right way. Keep practicing.”

Jade Cargill was supposed to be on the Belair/Ripley team in WarGames, but she was taken out by a dread mystery attack. Nia Jax has denied being involved in Cargill’s attack even though some people might think she’s a suspect in the attack.
