New Revelation Behind Toni Storm’s Mysterious AEW Disappearance

Timeless Toni Storm is one of the biggest female stars in AEW currently, making her one of the biggest attractions for any show put up by the All Elite Promotion. However, she hasn’t been seen on TV recently.

Storm had been involved in a rivlary with Marina Shafir for the last few weeks and faced her in singles action at Revolution earlier this month. While she won the match, Shafir attacked her afterwards, indicating that the two might not just be over.

She was then scheduled to face The Death Riders’ member on the following Dynamite in a no-holds barred match. However, minutes before the show went on air, she was seen lying unconsious backstage and Mina Shirakawa replaced her in the match.

AEW may be without Toni Storm for the rest of the year

Since then, Toni Storm hasn’t been seen on any AEW programming and it wasn’t clear if she suffered an injury or if the attack is part of an angle, before news broke out that Storm might not wrestle again in 2026.

It has been reported that the Timeless One hasn’t suffered an injury as Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, confirmed the same and claimed that AEW found out about Toni’s status on the day of the show.

On the Toni Storm thing, it appears she’s not gonna be wrestling for a long, long time, and this was something that they found out on Wednesday. It was not an injury or anything like that. On Wednesday, she’s there. She is set up to wrestle in this match, and they had to do this emergency angle to take her out and put Mina Shirakawa in. They, on the day, on Wednesday, earliest Wednesday morning, certainly all day Tuesday, they were under the impression that she was going to be wrestling.” Meltzer said. [H/T: Cultaholic.com]

While the exact reason for Toni’s absence hasn’t been confirmed yet, fans are speculating that the former AEW Women’s Champion might be pregnant. Storm is married fellow AEW star, Juice Robinson, as the two of them tied the knot in 2022.
