New AEW TV Show Coming Soon To TBS

A new report has revealed that AEW will soon launch a new behind-the-scenes TV series on TBS.

AEW officially launched on New Year’s Day 2019, but their flagship weekly TV show, Dynamite, did not debut on TNT until October 2nd of the same year. Since then, it has become a regular feature of Wednesday nights for wrestling fans, surviving the ‘Wednesday Night Wars’ when it went head to head with NXT and moved to a new home on TBS in early 2022.

AEW launched their second weekly TV offering, Rampage, in August 2021 and the show got a major boost on its second episode saw the debut of CM Punk for the promotion after seven years away from wrestling. Although originally tipped to follow Dynamite to TBS, Rampage still airs weekly on TNT.

Now, a an email sent out from WarnerMedia-owned Ringleaders has revealed that a new AEW show is on its way to join Dynamite on TBS. Fightful Select has reported that the email includes a survey asking people to give their views on what the new show could be named. In addition, the email confirms that “a new AEW show is coming to TBS!”

Proposed names for the show include the following:

  • To The Top
  • Fight To The Finish
  • All Access
  • Breakout
  • Uprise
  • The Climb
  • To The Mat
  • Road To The Belt
  • Friends And Enemies
  • Grit And Glory

The report also notes that there have been several pitches for reality shows featuring All Elite wrestlers and Darby Allin is said to have already filmed footage for one. Swerve Strickland, Dr. Britt Baker DMD, and Adam Cole are also thought to be of interest for similar projects.

AEW was previously involved with reality series Rhodes To The Top which aired on TNT. That series followed the lives and careers of Cody and Brandi Rhodes, who both left AEW in February 2022.
