Nattie To Ex-WWE Champion: “Kiss My F**king A**”
In the independent circuit, fans got to witness a side of Natalya they had never seen before.
When wrestling outside WWE and AAA, the Canadian veteran competed under the moniker ‘Nattie.’ It was not just the name that changed, but also her attitude and the numerous moves that got added to her arsenal.
She was relentless, unforgiving, and unremorseful, leaving opponents battered.
Wrestling fans wondered if they would get this version of the 43-year-old in the Stamford promotion.
Then came the vignettes, in which she trained with Maxxine Dupri in her Dungeon 2.0 facility. Viewers who had seen her indie bits immediately felt a rush of excitement knowing the debut of this version of Natalya was just around the corner.
On the February 9 taping of WWE Raw, Nattie arrived. After betraying Dupri during her match against Becky Lynch, she launched a vicious attack that lasted several minutes.
On Monday, it was not about winning the match for her as much as making a statement.
Nattie Destroys Maxxine Dupri On WWE Raw
Nattie’s match against Maxxine Dupri lasted a couple of minutes, during which the 28-year-old managed to get some offense, even applying the Ankle Lock on the grizzled veteran.
The action then moved outside the ring, where the former Natalya dominated by dropping Dupri on the commentator’s table. She then applied the Sharpshooter submission, refusing to let go, as the referee counted them both out.
Speaking on the latest episode of Raw Recap, Nattie minced no words when she spoke about her former protege.
When you look at someone like Maxxine Dupri, I thought Maxxine was different. That’s actually what hurts me more than anything. Like I said, nice guys finish last, and for me, for a very, very long time, I realized that doormats are good for one thing and one thing only, and that’s getting walked on.
I thought Maxxine was different, but she’s not. She’s just like the rest of them. The rest of them that went on grabbed everything that they ever wanted and forgot about the people that helped them reach greatness. Maxxine is no different than anyone else.
She used me like a rung on a ladder to pull herself up and win a championship, and then who does she thank? Sam, who did Maxxine thank? When she won the IC championship, who did she thank?
