Natalya has reflected on 2025 by calling it a life-changing year.

The new year means a time of reflection on the year that was, while looking ahead to accomplishing great things in 2026.

For WWE superstar Natalya, who has been with the company for nearly 20 years, she looks back on 2025 with a smile because of all that she accomplished.

While Natalya didn’t wrestle on WWE television in 2025 as much as she had in past years, she was able to compete in other promotions as her badass “Nattie” character. Throughout 2025, she had matches in GCW/Bloodsport, the NWA, and AAA (which WWE owns), which she had never been able to do before.

In addition to competing in the wrestling ring as usual, Natalya also wrote an incredible book called The Last Hart Beating, which became a NY Times bestseller and has been praised for being an open, honest look at a life in and out of the pro wrestling world.

Natalya wrote in her book that she was scared when her husband, TJ Wilson (aka Tyson Kidd), suffered a serious neck injury in 2015 in a WWE ring, and the couple was concerned about how the company would react to it. TJ eventually settled in as a top Producer in the company, while Natalya is the longest tenured women’s wrestler in WWE.

2025 Was Natalya’s Favorite Year Of Her Career

Writing on X/Twitter, Natalya opened up about how 2025 was a life-changing year for her because of the book she wrote, and also because of the “Nattie” character she has used outside of WWE.

2025 changed my life. I took a leap of faith and went after everything I’d ever wanted: writing a book, betting on myself, and redefining who I am in this industry. This was my favorite year of my career because NATTIE was born and I was able to share my story. I grew so much as a person.

I asked myself: Why not me?

So I worked my ass off and built it. And it was so worth it. I’m so grateful I listened to my gut and said “keep going, keep pushing, keep fighting for more.”

Trust me — 2026 is about to be even bigger.

With love,
NATTIE

It has been reported that WWE wants to use the “Low Key Legend” Nattie character on television in the future, so that could be something to look forward to for fans of the future WWE Hall of Famer.
