WWE is bringing in some of the company’s legends to help set up some matches for the NXT roster.

Mick Foley shared a video on social media over the weekend where he made qualifier matches for the return of the Iron Survivor Challenge in NXT. Foley put the former NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton in a bout with Fallon Henley while Dijak was tasked with battling Tyler Bate.

On the 7th of November edition of NXT both Stratton and Dijak were victorious to progress to their respective Iron Survivor Challenges at Deadline on the 9th of December.

A video also played on the show that revealed WWE Hall of Famers Lita, JBL, and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler will all be announcing future qualifying matches for the two huge matches. Lita will be first up out of the trio and will make matches for the 14th of November edition of the show.

In 2022 when the Iron Survivor Challenges were introduced by WWE, a panel of Road Dogg, Shawn Michaels, Alundra Blayze, and Molly Holly picked the competitors. Roxanne Perez and Grayson Waller won the Challenger matches earning shots at the NXT Women’s Title and NXT Championship respectively.

Roxanne Perez captured the NXT Women’s Title from Mandy Rose as a result of her victory. The match between the two women came one day before Mandy Rose was fired by WWE for explicit content she was posting online.
