Roxanne Perez Comments On NXT Women’s Title Win

Roxanne Perez NXT Women's Champion

Roxanne Perez has commented on the biggest win of her young career as she dethroned Mandy Rose for the NXT Women’s Championship.

At NXT Deadline, the Iron Survivor Challenge matches promised to find new number one contenders for the NXT and NXT Women’s Titles. In the women’s match, it was Roxanne Perez that walked away victorious and she didn’t waste any time in going after the title.

On the 13th of December edition of NXT television, Perez challenged Mandy Rose for the title. The Capitol Wrestling Center came unglued when Perez nailed Pop Rocks on the champion to claim the win and the NXT Women’s Title.

Speaking in an NXT Exclusive, Perez reflected on her massive win and says everything she has done since the age of 14 was leading up to that moment:

“About 2016, I have it right here on my wrist, is the year I started wrestling. I was 14 years, and that was the day that I just said, I’m gonna do everything I can to make sure that I get to the WWE. No matter what it takes, I’m gonna get there.’ My whole life revolved around wrestling up until now. Everything single thing I did was to be here and was for this championship.”

“I’m sure you saw, I just broke down into tears out there. Everything was worth it. All the trials, the tribulations, the ups and the downs. Every single thing was so worth it. This is proof to every little girl out there that no matter what you tell yourself, no matter what doubts there are in your mind, it can happen. You can become the NXT Women’s Champion.”

Although Roxanne Perez only made her WWE debut in April 2022, the 21-year-old star has achieved two reigns as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion in addition to her NXT Women’s Title win. Prior to joining WWE, she was known as Rok-C in Ring of Honor where she held the ROH Women’s Title.
