A top MMA prospect turned WWE Superstar is set for their televised in-ring debut for the company as part of the NXT brand.

Back in June 2022, it was reported that 23-year-old Valerie Loureda has signed a multi-year deal with WWE after trying out for the company in the spring.

Loureda remains under contract with Bellator, where she has amassed a pro fight record of 4 wins and 1 loss, but will now be a full-time WWE athlete. The young star also told ESPN that she was set to move from Miami, where she trained under Dan Lambert’s American Top Team, to Orlando, the home of the Performance Center.

In late 2022, Loureda was given the ring-name Lola Vice and she has been competing as part of the NXT brand on their live events around Florida. She made her in-ring debut on the 12th of November when she teamed with Bronco Nima & Xyon Quinn to take on Andre Chase, Duke Hudson, & Thea Hail. But now she is set to make her televised debut on NXT Level Up which is set to air on the 27th of January.

In a previous interview with Sam Roberts. Lola Vice explained that it was Charlotte Flair that made her want to pursue pro wrestling after attending WrestleMania:

“Yeah, Charlotte Flair is what did it for me. My last fight was in November and in my mind, I was still fighting. Then, I went to WrestleMania — have you guys ever been? It’s just another level. You go in there and you leave different. That’s what changed my mind and I just prayed for this opportunity and it came through.”
