Charlotte Flair is a bit jealous that her husband got to share the ring with Ric Flair in his last match.

On July 31st, 2022, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair wrestled his retirement match at 73 years old. In that match, he teamed with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo to take on the team of Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal. But one person who wishes she could’ve been part of that momentous occasion was Ric’s daughter and Andrade’s wife, Charlotte.

Speaking on The TODAY Show, Charlotte explained that she was backstage at the event and could only watch on as her father wrestled his last match ever.

“That was a long day. Honestly, I was a little jealous because I was like, ‘Oh, I want to be a part of this’. I’ve shared the ring with my dad, but not in that capacity.

But then again my husband having the opportunity to be beside him, at the same time, I’m like, ‘Man, I wish my little brother could see this.’ Then my husband is a third-generation wrestler. It was awesome. Picture-perfect.

But I mean my dad could have maybe just managed my husband, but it worked out.”

Ric Flair previously noted that he wasn’t too happy with how this match happened, especially since he admitted that he passed out twice as it was unfolding.

Meanwhile, as Andrade recovers from surgery for a torn pectoral, his wife Charlotte Flair is the current SmackDown Women’s Champion after beating Ronda Rousey for the title on the December 30th, 2022 episode of Smackdown.
