MJF Runs Away After Shocking Incident On AEW Dynamite
AEW World Champion, MJF, was involved in the main event of Dynamite tonight as the champion wrestled a World Championship Eliminator match in the final segment of the show.
MJF was scheduled to kick off the show with Kenny Omega as both of them signed the contract for their World Championship match at AEW Dynasty, and neither man could get physical with each other.
It was already announced that if Kenny laid hands on MJF, the match would be called off, and if MJF did the same, he would have to relinquish the title. The champion tried to take advantage of the rule by instigating Kenny Omega.

However, Speedball Mike Bailey saw through what MJF was trying to do and challenged him to a match tonight in the main event. They both faced off in an Eliminator match while Kenny Omega sat on commentary.
Mike Bailey produced an incredible performance against the champion, but came up short ultimately. He missed with a double knee drop on the apron, and MJF took advantage of the same.
He hit Bailey with a tombstone piledriver on the apron before hitting a Heatseeker for the win. Following the match, MJF assaulted Bailey a little more with punches straight to the face, but ran away with the title as soon as Kenny jumped in the ring to make the save.
