The cocky AEW World Champion MJF has fired back at Conor McGregor with a very interesting remark on social media.

It has been an eventful week for Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF). At the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view on November 19th, MJF challenged Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship. By the time the match was over, MJF left as the new AEW World Champion after William Regal turned on Moxley by handing MJF some brass knuckles that MJF used to knock out Moxley. MJF pinned Moxley to win the AEW World Title.

The championship win by MJF was a history-making moment for the 26-year-old as he became the youngest AEW World Champion in the history of the three-year-old company.

MJF also got into a social media war of words with UFC fighter named Paddy Pimblett, who made this comment on Instagram:

“if u wanna have a real fight let’s sort it with the UFC if not pipe down! Oh tell ur boss to sign me up when yous come to Fulham’s ground I be ready son”

In reply to Pimblett, MJF mentioned that AEW’s first UK show is happening in London, England in 2023. No specific date has been announced for that show yet.

“hey bud. AEW has a show coming up in your neck of the woods. If you’re man enough I’ll gladly show you how real I am.”

That led to UFC legend Conor McGregor tweeting in support of Pimblett with this tweet supporting Pimblett while making it clear he did not know who MJF was:

“A dollar store Conor is still worth millions! Let’s go young Paddy Pimb! Don’t know who this other clown is.”

Prior to the airing of the November 23rd episode of Dynamite, which MJF missed due to filming the Von Erich movie, MJF used some aggressive language while taking a shot at McGregor.

“I’ll f**k the Conor clone up. Then I’ll wipe my ass with the original.

Stay in your lane you roided up leprechaun.

You can’t hang with the @AEWWorld Champion. #Betterthanyou”

The “leprechaun” reference is because McGregor is Irish. There has been no response from McGregor as of this writing.
