Mercedes Mone Gives Huge Update On Wrestling Future

Mercedes Mone

Mercedes Mone has given the clearest update yet about her future and sees herself being part of a wrestling company once again in 2024.

Better known by WWE fans as Sasha Banks, Mercedes Mone and Trinity caused a stir when they walked out of WWE in May 2022. Since then Trinity has re-established herself in IMPACT Wrestling while Mone has been a part of New Japan Pro Wrestling and held the IWGP Women’s Championship.

In a video Mone recorded for Cameo but has circulated widely online, the former IWGP Women’s Champion addressed her future and she expects to be back with a company next year:

I cannot wait to return back into the ring Definitely expect me to be back with some wrestling company in 2024 for sure. I cannot wait to be back in that squared circle. It’s where I feel the most at home, it’s where I feel alive and I just can’t wait to be back. I’ve been just healing everything mentally, physically, spiritually, everything so I’m really excited to get back to what I love and do best.

Where Is Mercedes Mone Going To End Up?

Injury has kept Mercedes Mone out of action for the last six months but she was seen in Wembley Stadium watching AEW All In back in August 2023. Whether or not she winds up in Tony Khan’s company, returning to New Japan Pro Wrestling, or even making a shock return to WWE remains to be seen.
