Matt Hardy’s Wife Calls Out Fans For Trespassing & Threatens A Fight
Matt Hardy’s wife is angry and disappointed with the fans.
A TikTok video recently went viral on social media that showed the location of The Hardy family’s home (The Hardy Compound) and revealed their address. This led to fans showing up and trespassing on their private property.
Matt Hardy Addresses Unsafe Fan Behavior
Matt Hardy’s wife, Reby, responded in a TikTok video where she directly addressed the fans who came to her property. She said that this kind of behavior is not welcome and puts her family at risk.
She pleaded with fans not to do this, asking them to imagine how they would feel if they had to be on high alert every time they stepped outside their front door, wondering if strangers were waiting there.
She emphasized that the Hardys live in a rural area, not in a celebrity neighborhood with tours, and that having strangers show up uninvited is extremely stressful and scary for her and her kids.
She also explained that the Hardy Boyz (Matt and Jeff) will not come outside to talk to trespassers. Instead, they will call her, and she will confront the people herself, which she is tired of having to do.
“Don’t do this. Everybody here has said this so many times: nobody likes this, nobody wants this. Don’t do this. Hardy Boyz are not gonna come outside and talk to you. Actually, they’re gonna call me every time. They’re gonna call me, and I’m gonna fight people, and I’m tired of doing it.”
“Would you wanna be on high alert every single time you stepped outside your front door, like, ‘oh, is there people here?’ Like, that’s crazy. This is not like we live in Hollywood, and there’s like bus tours. Like, ‘come see where these famous people live.’ We live in the middle of nowhere. Don’t do this, don’t encourage this. Nobody wants this. Don’t do this.”
This isn’t the first time Reby had to call out fans for inappropriate behavior. Last year in October, she revealed an incident where a man (very likely a wrestling fan) stalked her and threatened to shoot her.
