Matt Hardy has answered the burning question on everyone’s lips after a week of controversy in AEW, has he ever scissored Daddy Ass?
Billy Gunn has found a whole new generation of fans through his antics with The Acclaimed on AEW television every week. The man who found fame in the Attitude Era for shouting “suck it” as part of DX is now more famous for his finger movements as week after week Anthony Bowens issues the call of “scissor me Daddy Ass.”
The WWE Hall of Famer was ringside at All Out as The Acclaimed – Bowens and Max Caster – challenged for the AEW World Tag Team Championship against Swerve Strickland and Keith Lee. The incumbent champions came out on top, much to the disappointment of the Chicago crowd but it was revealed on Dynamite that The Acclaimed will get a second bite at the cherry when they challenge Swerve In Our Glory at AEW Grand Slam.
Speaking on his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, tag team icon Matt Hardy briefly touched on Billy Gunn’s new moniker and reveals if he’s ever had the pleasure of scissoring with him:
“I have never scissored Daddy Ass. I have known Daddy Ass a long time. I think that he has just started getting into scissoring. So you know, never had the opportunity. Just never scissored him. [Matt is asked if he would if the opportunity arose?] Never say never in this business, anything can happen.”
