Massive WWE SmackDown Main Event Announced Following Jey Uso Attack
Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso qualified for the Men’s Elimination Chamber match this past week on Monday Night RAW after defeating Bronson Reed and the Original El Grande Americano.
However, he suffered an unfortunate fate on Friday Night SmackDown tonight as he was the victim of a brutal backstage attack and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Later in the night, the SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, confirmed that Jey Uso is officially ruled out of tomorrow night’s event and announced a huge main event match to find his replacement.
Logan Paul to main event WWE SmackDown
Following Jey’s injury, multiple superstars came up to Aldis and asked to be put in Uso’s spot in the Men’s Chamber match. The Vision advocated for Logan Paul to take Jey’s place.
Meanwhile, Jey’s cousin, Jacob Fatu, felt that he should replace his brother in the match. Ultimately, Aldis announced an impromptu qualifying match for the Chamber between Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu, with the winner taking the final spot in the match.
