Mandy Rose has dominated the NXT women’s division over the last year and recently she passed another former champion with her lengthy title reign.

Fans of Tough Enough recall that Mandy Rose first appeared on WWE Tough Enough in 2015 when she finished second on that season. She was signed to a WWE deal after the show.

During her WWE career, Rose was a part of the NXT brand followed by a move to the main roster on Raw in November 2017. While she had ups and downs on the main roster, Rose was moved back to NXT in July 2021.

Shortly after Rose’s return to NXT, WWE changed the brand to NXT 2.0 with Rose as the leader of a three-woman group called Toxic Attraction. Rose serveds as a mentor to Jacy Jayne & Gigi Dolin. Thanks to the strength of the group, Rose became NXT Women’s Champion for the first time on a Halloween Havoc episode of NXT on October 26, 2021. Jayne & Dolins have also had a lot of success as two-time former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions as well.

Rose has passed Charlotte Flair in total days spent as NXT Women’s Champion at 333 days and counting. Charlotte had two NXT Women’s Title reigns in her career. Now that Rose is third on the list, she trails only first place Shayna Baszler at 548 total days as champion (she had two title runs) and second place, who had a single 522-day reign as champion.

While her NXT run continues to impress, Rose has also had a lot of personal happiness of late because she recently announced her engagement to former NXT wrestler Tino Sabbatelli.

It appears as though Alba Fyre is going to be the next challenger for Rose’s title based on recent episodes of NXT although no title match date has been announced yet.
