Major WWE Star Officially A Free Agent
This WWE star has yet to be drafted to one of the two brands in the company.
WWE had a mystery crate that they teased leading up to the Elimination Chamber PLE on Feb 28.
Fans speculated as to who could be inside the human-sized crate, with many hoping it would be WWE legend Chris Jericho, whose return to the Stamford-based promotion has been widely anticipated.
However, when the crate was finally opened during the PLE, it revealed the company’s newest signing, indie wrestler Danhausen.
Danhausen has a goth-style gimmick, which is part-satire, part-comedy horror, where he curses people, and bad luck befalls them.
His first course of action was cursing Dominik Mysterio on Raw, who fell victim to it and lost his Intercontinental Title to Penta on the same night.
The second star to be officially cursed was The Miz, who refused to be Danhausen’s mentor despite the latter’s pleas. Miz got accidentally punched in the face by musician Jelly Roll, who was on Miz TV as a guest that night on SmackDown.
Despite these appearances and clips of some backstage segments released online, it has come to light that Danhausen is still a free agent in the company.
Danhausen Listed As Free Agent On WWE’s Official Website
Danhausen was added to the roster page on WWE.com, and he has been listed under the ‘free agent’ section.
Other stars in this section include Brock Lesnar, Oba Femi, and Omos, who appear on both of the company’s brands, Raw and SmackDown.

Apart from cursing people backstage and making quippy jokes, Danhausen hasn’t done much in the form of wrestling yet, so it would be interesting to see what Triple H and Co. have in store for the unique star going forward.
