Major WWE Champion Shockingly Pinned On SmackDown

The WWE Universe was about to be treated to another clash between Carmelo Hayes and Ilja Dragunov on tonight’s SmackDown before Nick Aldis made a major announcement.

Melo came out to the ring and called Dragunov out to the ring for their match for the United States Championship after The Miz screwed him over in the last match they wrestled.

However, before the match could begin, they were interrupted by Solo Sikoa’s MFT as Solo wanted to challenge for the title. The group attacked Melo and Hayes but saw Matt Cardona, Apollo Crews, and Shinsuke Nakamura come to their rescue.

As both groups continued their scuffle, Nick Aldis made a huge 10-man tag team match official for the night.

MFTs emerge victorious on WWE SmackDown

The MFTs were the more dominant side in the early stages of the match as they continued isolating every opponent that came up against them. Dragunov got some momentum back for his team, but he was met with the same treatment as the others.

The match erupted into chaos after Carmelo Hayes turned the tide for his team. All wrestlers seemingly took each other out with their finishers before Talla Tonga put an end to everything.

He broke the faces’ momentum and chokeslamed Ilja and Melo together, and it took all five of the faces to take out Talla. Melo and Solo got back in the ring after the chaos was cleared.

Melo looked to get the win as he headed to the top rope, but was pushed by Tama Tonga into a Samoan Spike. Dragunov then took out Solo with a Torpedo Moscow, but Tama took advantage of the situation and hit Melo with the Cutthroat to pin him and win the match.
