WWE skipped the Draft in 2025.

However, last year, ESPN wanted to host the event and even pushed for it. Despite internal discussions, nothing materialized.

An update regarding WWE Draft in 2026

As per reports by Bodyslam, the company does not have any tentative date for the WWE Draft for this year either.

It is possible that the Stamford-based promotion will replicate its success from last year, with superstars switching brands throughout the year, along with NXT call-ups.

In 2025, several superstars shifted brands during the year, which enabled the company to create new storylines across brands. The company moved away from a major shuffle at once and focused on shuffles when necessary to allow the product to evolve and make it more engaging.

At the moment, fans should not expect a Draft in 2026. However, WWE is constantly expanding its partnerships and major media deals. Keeping that in mind, the global juggernaut could have a Draft in 2026 to bring back the older format.
