Major TNA Title Match Shockingly Pulled From AMC Debut

TNA has pulled a top title match from its AMC debut after one star shockingly left the company.

TNA Impact will have its biggest show in several years when it debuts on AMC on January 15th. Calling in help from its partners in WWE, AJ Styles will appear on the show, although perhaps not in the role that TNA originally wanted him for.

Impact on AMC will also see Mike Santana challenge Frankie Kazarian for the TNA World Championship. The Hardys will team with Elijah to clash with Order 4, while the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Title will be defended as The IInspiration put their gold on the line against The Elegance Brand.

Leon Slater’s TNA Title Match Pulled From Impact

TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater was originally advertised to defend his gold against Myron Reed, but it looks like that match is off, and Reed is gone from the company.

PWInsider has reported that all four members of The Rascalz have apparently left TNA ahead of the AMC debut and are free to appear elsewhere. Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, and Myron Reed are now gone from the promotion, and TNA have stopped advertising Slater’s title match, although he is still advertised to be on the show.

TNA could produce a surprise opponent for Slater, either from TNA’s past or from WWE, to make up for the major change to the card.
