Major Change Made To Blake Monroe’s WWE Entrance

Blake Monroe has confirmed that a change is coming to her WWE entrance.

In her first year in WWE, Blake Monroe was a part of the NXT brand.

During her run in NXT, Blake Monroe became an ally of Jordynne Grace before turning on her, and went on to win the Women’s NXT North American Title. That title reign was short due to an accidental pinfall in a match with Tatum Paxley.

Like she had done in AEW as Mariah May, Blake was able to be “The Glamour”, showing off her good looks, while also showing off a darker side by competing in a Casket Match against Tatum Paxley in what was Blake’s NXT farewell match on April 21st.

Every year, there are NXT wrestlers who get called up to the WWE main roster, and this year, Blake was among the talents who got the call to the main roster.

For several weeks, Blake Monroe has issued warnings of sorts to some of the top babyface women on SmackDown, like Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Tiffany Stratton, who was the subject of Blake’s comments on the June 5th edition of SmackDown.

“Tiffany Stratton. You are quite the star. Your rise to the top was very impressive. Looking at you is like looking in a mirror, which I do love to do. When we finally meet it will be the box office event that fans are dying to see.

But the difference between you and I is if you scratch just a little bit beneath the surface you’ll see a princess like you isn’t used to getting her hands dirty. Tiffy Time is about to run on Monroe minutes so run whilst you can because The Glamour is coming to SmackDown.”

When Monroe’s SmackDown debut finally does happen, there will apparently be a change. That is according to Monroe herself, who revealed on Tiffany Stratton’s Twitch stream that the mirror part of her entrance in NXT won’t be coming to SmackDown with her:

“That’s my new entrance, folks, since you know the mirror is kaput.”

In NXT, Monroe used to be seated in a mirror while her music played for a match/segment, then she’d walk out. However, that apparently won’t be happening on SmackDown.

Blake Monroe Has A Personal Reason To Wrestle Nikki Bella

While there are some women on the WWE main roster whom Blake Monroe has wrestled in the past, many of them will be new opponents when Monroe steps into the ring with them.

When speaking about women she wants to wrestle in WWE, Monroe admitted there are several she wants to compete against, but Nikki Bella stands out for an interesting reason.

“I have a ton, since I grew up watching WWE. The person I would pick has just come back, Nikki Bella. She’s my mum’s favorite wrestler, and that hits personal to me. So, I feel like I need to take her out. [Laughs] I need to be my mum’s favorite wrestler! She’s part of the Bella Army. I’ve lost her. But maybe if I beat her, my mum will come around.”

Good luck to Blake getting her mom’s support.
