Major AEW Stars Could Miss A Few Months

AEW

The Young Bucks have had a tough few weeks since losing the AEW Trios Championship alongside Kenny Omega and now it seems they could be missing for a few months.

AEW Dynamite in Independence, MO opened with the unsettling sight of Matt and Nick Jackson being loaded into ambulances after suffering an apparently vicious attack. Hangman Adam Page, as well as Kenny Omega, were on hand to show concern and despite Page’s history with The Bucks, he accompanied Nick Jackson to the hospital.

Kenny Omega was stopped from leaving the arena with his close friends by Don Callis who was keen to have the star stay put due to his match with El Hijo Del Vikingo on the show. However, Callis’ own motives may have become clearer later in the show.

Callis showed he was all heart later in the show as he told Omega that the injuries to The Young Bucks could be good for them:

“Look, catastrophic injuries happen. All I’m saying is just hear me. Those two kids going to the hospital in an ambulance might be the best thing to happen to us…You’re back, the God of Pro Wrestling is back. Those kids will be fine in a few months.”

Whether or not The Young Bucks end up missing time from television remains to be seen but it certainly seems like Don Callis is looking to resurrect Kenny Omega’s main event singles career under his own advisement once again.
