Madcap Moss Opens Up On Best Advice From Triple H

Madcap Moss

Madcap Moss has revealed some advice he was given by Triple H which was extremely helpful in the early stages of his career.

With eight years wrestling experience under his belt, Friday Night SmackDown’s Madcap Moss has now surpassed the amount of time he spent playing professional football. However, he has noted that some advice was crucial to help get him past the first rung of the ladder in the wrestling business.

Having started out at the WWE Performance Center in 2014, Madcap Moss seemingly really hit his groove first teaming and then feuding with Happy Corbin, eventually showing a new sense of purpose and aggression in his character.

Speaking on Out of Character with Ryan Satin, Madcap Moss admitted that in the early days he was a little frustrated at the pace with which his wrestling career was progressing. He then noted a meeting with Triple H which helped him deal with those concerns.

I remember actually, it’s something that Triple H had said to not just me, but he said it to me and a group of us as well. But all the frustrations that you have, once you get moved past that level, once you move past the point of not being a part of the team contributing on TV, once you become a contributing player, all those frustrations just disappear.

And it’s true. Like, I don’t look back and think, ‘Oh man, I wish I would have been quicker, or I can’t believe I wasted time.’ None of those thoughts come to mind. It’s all just part of the journey. And in some sense, I think it’s good it took so long because I was able to refine my skills and my abilities as a performer.

Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin finally settled the score at WrestleMania Backlash in May, with Moss picking up the victory.
