WWE Announces Logan Paul Has Signed a Contract, Details on Length of Deal, Next Likely Match

Logan Paul with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H

It was announced by WWE on Thursday that Youtube star and celebrity boxer Logan Paul has officially signed with the company.

WWE announced Paul’s signing on their social media channels and website (posing with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H) while Paul also shared it on his social media outlets.

More details on Paul’s contract were provided by Ariel Helwani of BT Sport in two tweets. Helwani noted that Paul’s contract states that the deal is for an “undisclosed number of premium live events across 2022 and 2023.” While Paul’s next match is likely at SummerSlam, he will probably appear on WWE TV before that to build the match. Also, Paul’s WWE deal was signed yesterday.

Paul was also featured in a WWE video where he noted he was coming for The Miz.

The reason Paul is coming for The Miz is that after Paul and Miz were victorious over The Mysterios at WrestleMania 38, The Miz attacked Paul with a Skull Crushing Finale. The reason things ended that way is because there were reports that Paul wanted to end his WrestleMania appearance as a babyface to set up a future match.

Paul, who is 27 years old, was very impressive in his first WWE match at WrestleMania 38 this year. He was also part of WrestleMania 37 one year earlier, but that was in a ringside role supporting Sami Zayn. At this year’s WrestleMania, he did some basic wrestling moves and also showed off his athleticism. Since Paul is also a comfortable talker that has charisma as well as a taller guy that’s around 6’4″ tall, he is a natural fit for WWE.

During this past Monday’s edition of Raw, The Miz mentioned Paul returning to WWE and claimed he would team up with him again. However, it’s more likely that Paul will be coming for The Miz as an adversary and we could see Paul’s first singles match against The Miz at SummerSlam on July 30.

WWE EVP, Global Talent Strategy & Development Paul Levesque (Triple H) tweeted about Paul signing with WWE.

Logan Paul is very popular on Youtube with over 23 million subscribers, he’s been involved in boxing, he’s a card collector and now he’ll be focusing a lot of time on working for WWE as well.
