Nia Jax’s Partner, Lash Legend, Drops Blockbuster WWE Tease
Lash Legend has made a stellar impact since debuting on the WWE main roster in November last year.
As an official talent on the blue brand, Legend attacked Alexa Bliss during Nia Jax’s match against Charlotte Flair, thus aligning with the Irresistible Force.
Weeks later, they came to be known as The Irresistible Forces as they put the entire women’s division on notice.
She was part of the Women’s WarGames match at Survivor Series, where she teamed up with Jax, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and Kairi Sane to face AJ Lee, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, which ended in a loss for the heels.
The duo then announced their intention to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, earning a title shot against Ripley and SKY.
In the closing minutes, Lash Legend hit her Lash Extension finisher on Ripley to win the tag titles with Jax for the first time.
Lash Legend Discusses Future Singles Run In WWE
Since debuting on the main roster, Lash Lenged has been presented as part of a tag team despite having competed in a handful of singles matches.
Legend will team up with Nia Jax again at Saturday Night’s Main Event tonight to challenge for the women’s tag titles held by Paige and Brie Bella.
During a virtual interview with The Sportster, the 29-year-old was asked about a potential singles run in WWE and challenging for titles such as the Women’s United States Championship, Women’s Intercontinental Championship, and the world titles.
In response, Lash Legend claimed that her present focus was on winning the tag team titles, but hoped that she could become a double champion in the future by going for singles gold.
I mean, right now, obviously at hand we have Saturday Night’s Main Event, so we’re going after those tag team titles. feel like that’s my priority right now, but I feel like in my career in general, of course I have goals of wanting to accomplish so, so much. Hopefully it’s with my girl Nia right by my side.
We can both have our individual gold, and hold tag-team gold. That’s the fairy tale dream of course, but it’s definitely possible. I have a lot of goals and things I do want to accomplish, together with Nia and then even later on. [H/T: WrestleTalk]
Lash Legend Thankful For Triple H’s Support
Having created a huge impact in her short time on the main roster, Lash Legend is a future singles champion without question.
However, she did not become one-half of the dominant Irresistible Forces without support from the higher-ups. While speaking to The Sportster, she ensured to give a shout-out to WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H.
I feel like in any program I’ve been a part of, in any sports background, NXT to now the main roster, I’ve always been the type where I always want to be around a player’s coach.
I am the type of athlete, the type of talent that not only goes hard for the program, my teammates, but I’ve always went hard for those who went hard for me.
In this case, it’s Hunter, and I feel like he’s put me in these amazing opportunities and trusted me with coming up to the main roster, some people are saying fast-tracked, whatever it is. He has trusted me, and he has given me these opportunities to showcase exactly who I am, the talent that I have.
