LA Knight Dealing With Injury; Clears Air On WWE WrestleMania 42 Status
LA Knight is currently dealing with an injury.
On this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw (March 23, 2026), the WWE Universe saw The Megastar accompanying The WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso), to the ring for their non-title match against Logan Paul and Austin Theory of The Vision.
During the match, Logan Paul tried to cheat by using his signature brass knuckles. However, Knight intervened and stopped Paul. He then pushed The Maverick, sending him crashing into the ring post. Knight then knuckled into the ring.
The match ended in disqualification when Jey Uso used the knuckles on Austin Theory. Following the match, LA Knight and The Usos were seen backstage, where Knight told Jey Uso that he was starting to sound like Roman Reigns. Jey Uso warned him not to speak about their family.
The backstage segment quickly went viral on social media, with fans noticing something concerning. LA Knight’s left elbow appeared significantly swollen. This led fans to worry about Knight and his immediate future, given that WrestleMania 42 is only weeks away.
LA Knight Plans To Compete At WrestleMania 42
Responding to a concerned post from a fan, LA Knight assured that his elbow injury won’t keep him off the road to WrestleMania. The tweet reassured fans that he will compete at WrestleMania 42, although WWE has yet to decide a creative direction for him.

It has been a while since Knight competed inside the ring. His last match took place at Elimination Chamber on 28 February, where he faced Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Je’Von Evans, Logan Paul, and Trick Williams in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match for a shot at the WWE Undisputed title.
