Kevin Owens has shone the spotlight on an NXT tag team, saying that he’d love to work either with or against them at some point.
During the original black and gold era for NXT, ‘The Prizefighter’ Kevin Owens made a swift name for himself, picking up the NXT Championship just two months after making his first appearance. His affinity for the brand has not been lost, even if he’s now appearing on Monday Night Raw.
Speaking on his recent appearance on The Bump, Kevin Owens was quick to single out The Creed Brothers as standout talents in NXT, feeling that they’re head and shoulders above the rest.
There’s a lot of really good talent over there but right now I think The Creed Brothers are kinda head and shoulders above everyone else if I’m gonna be brutally honest. I really love them, I love to be in the ring with them, or if I ever need back up they’re probably guys I would look to.
The Creed Brothers recently held the NXT Tag Team Championships, only losing them to Pretty Deadly at Worlds Collide. They had the opportunity to win the gold back in a steel cage match on the most recent edition of NXT, but were unsuccessful.
Former NXT and Universal Champion currently has his sights firmly set on Austin Theory, with the pair set to go one-on-one on the 19th September 2022 edition of the red brand.
