Kevin Owens Drops Cryptic Post After Randy Orton Aligns With Pat McAfee On WWE SmackDown
Kevin Owens has reacted to Randy Orton and Pat McAfee aligning on WWE SmackDown.
Friday’s taping opened to an interesting turn of events as Orton discussed his ongoing feud with Cody Rhodes and their upcoming title match at WrestleMania 42.
Both superstars had brawled to close out last week’s episode, with Grammy Award-winning artist, Jelly Roll, becoming collateral damage in their fight.
Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes started from where they left off last week, immediately throwing hands at each other. Just when Rhodes seemed to have gotten the upper hand, Pat McAfee entered the ring unannounced.
He walked toward Rhodes and kicked him low, shocking everyone in the arena and those watching at home.
While Randy continued to assault Cody, Pat explained the reasons why he decided to align with The Viper.
Surprisingly, McAfee touched upon all the points that have frustrated the IWC all this time, including poor ticket sales ahead of WrestleMania.
It remains to be seen how long this alliance continues for or whether McAfee is here only to hype up the Show of Shows.
Elsewhere, Kevin Owens has reacted to the newly formed friendship between Orton and McAfee.
Randy Orton’s Rival Shares His Thoughts On His New Association
Randy Orton had entered into a feud with Kevin Owens at the beginning of 2025, with their rivalry set to culminate in a match at WrestleMania.
However, days before the event, Owens announced that he had been dealing with neck issues and that he would be undergoing surgery, and that he would not be competing at ‘Mania.
Since then, the Canadian superstar has undergone surgery and has been in rehabilitation with no fixed date on his return. Some fans even speculated he could be Orton’s “guy on the phone.”
Following Friday’s episode, Owens shared a picture of an English Bulldog with its tongue out on his X account, which his followers see as him conveying his frustration.
