Kenny Omega Set For AEW In-Ring Return Next Week

Former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega appeared on tonight’s special edition of Dynamite: Maximum Carnage, making his first physical appearance in almost a month.

Omega appeared on the titantron on the New Year’s Smash episode of Dynamite, announcing that he will do everything he can to get his hands on the World Championship once again, and reiterated the same tonight.

He made his return as Hangman Page, and Swerve Strickland called out MJF for his World Title. All three former World Champions are looking to win the top prize once again.

Don Callis interrupts Kenny Omega’s AEW return

After Swerve and Hangman Page left Kenny in the ring, Don Callis appeared with a few members of the Don Callis Family on the stage and mocked Kenny. He asked Kenny to face off against the Walking Weapon, Josh Alexander, and the Cleaner accepted the challenge.

Both men were ready to step up in the ring tonight, but Alexander was stopped by Don Callis, who claimed that he would do things on his terms and instead set the fight up for next week on AEW Dynamite.
