Kenny Omega Names Hardcore Weapon That Led To Bad Accident

Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega has revealed which foreign object has caused him the most damage during his career.

AEW Executive Vice President Omega, notorious for the extreme nature of his bouts over the years, has been out of action for months after being diagnosed with diverticulitis and a date for his return to in-ring action remains unknown.

Omega’s last in-ring appearance for AEW came on 5th December against Ethan Page, in a contest taped for the 9th December edition of AEW Collision.

During a recent stream on Twitch, the former AEW Champion was asked about which weapon had caused him the most damage during hardcore matches and after considering the likes of steel chairs and thumb tacks, the 40 year-old settled on barbed wire as his selection:

“I’ve had some bad accidents with barbed wire unfortunately. I got really destroyed in the last match where I took a superplex [on barbed wire] and I looked like I got attacked by a rabid wolverine.”

‘The Cleaner’ has certainly been no stranger to barbed wire during his AEW career and famously defended his AEW World Championship successfully against Jon Moxley in an Exploding Barbed Wire Death Match at AEW Revolution on 7th March 2021.
