Jon Moxley believes the BCC rivalry with The Elite in AEW is the cutting edge of pro wrestling and had harsh words for some critics of the company.

As a former three-time AEW World Champion, Jon Moxley remains a top guy in All Elite Wrestling just like he has been for the last four years.

After a recent heel turn, Moxley’s group known as the Blackpool Combat Club (with Bryan Danielson, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta) has been at war with The Elite group consisting of Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks – Matt & Nick Jackson.

In the main event of the May 10th edition of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley faced Kenny Omega in a Steel Cage Match. It was a bloody battle that saw both men utilize a barbed wire steel chair during the match.

The turning point in the match came after Omega and Moxley broke through the cage leading to a rough landing on the floor. That would lead to Kenny’s “family” Don Callis going into the ring and turning on Omega by hitting him with a screwdriver. Moxley would capitalize on the cheap attack by pinning Omega to win the match.

During an interview with Sports Illustrated, Jon Moxley explained why the BCC and The Elite is the cutting edge of pro wrestling right now.

“This rivalry between us is the cutting edge of the business. You might be more into something else, but look at who is involved here. Kenny Omega may be the greatest wrestler that ever lived. Bryan Danielson may be the greatest wrestler that ever lived. Claudio Castagnoli may be the most absolute alien pretending to be a human Superman f—ing freak wrestler to ever live.”

“The Young Bucks may be the greatest tag team of all time. Even if you think I f—ing suck, you still have all these greats.”

Jon Moxley would continue by pushing the story involving the two sides while going on to criticize those people that hate The Elite or himself.

“A lot of people out there hate on the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega. We’re obviously attacking them and have our issues with them, but we are not old-ass f—ing bitter dudes with podcasts talking about how the business used to be. We are not that.”

“A lot of people hate Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks, and that’s because they hate themselves. It’s sad.”

“There are plenty of people who hate me. I don’t give a f—. I don’t care what challenges you put in front of me or what s— befalls me. I’m very pissed off. I will shove it up everybody’s flying ass. After last year, I have that attitude. Kenny and the Young Bucks have that attitude. It’s us against the universe. That attitude is AEW at its core.”

While Jon Moxley, the BCC and The Elite are not currently advertised for a match at the AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view on May 28th, they will likely be part of some match together.
