Jon Moxley Championship Match Set For AEW All Out
Jon Moxley will have a chance to win some championship gold this Sunday at AEW All Out.
When it comes to winning championships in AEW, Jon Moxley knows how to get the job done. After all, Moxley is the only three-time AEW World Champion in the history of the company.
The last time Jon Moxley held the AEW World Championship was last November going into Full Gear. Moxley lost the title that night to MJF, who benefitted from an assist by William Regal while Moxley has yet to really get another shot at the title.
At AEW All Out 2022, Moxley went into the show as the AEW World Champion, but he lost the title to CM Punk. This year, Moxley will be challenging for a different championship.
Orange Cassidy Wins To Set Up Jon Moxley Match at All Out
One of the wildest matches at AEW All In London last Sunday saw Orange Cassidy get the win for his team in a 5-on-5 Stadium Stampede Match over a team led by Jon Moxley. The two men interacted a few times during the match, but certainly didn’t settle their rivalry.
On this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley picked up a win over Komander by using an armbar leading to a submission win.
In the Dynamite main event, Orange Cassidy beat Penta El Zero Miedo with a crucifix pin to retain the AEW International Championship and move on to All Out where Cassidy will defend the gold against Moxley. Cassidy has held the International Title for over ten months and has over 30 title defenses, which is very impressive.
After the match, Orange Cassidy did a rare promo about being a fighting champion. Jon Moxley interrupted the promo with a slap, Orange delivered a punch and they had a staredown. Moxley did a middle finger salute and left. That’s how Dynamite ended this week.
