Jon Moxley Has “Never Seen So Much Bullsh*t Drama” As In AEW

Jon Moxley screaming

Jon Moxley is a man who lives out loud, having seen and done more in his career than most will in a lifetime but even for him, the drama in AEW is nothing like he’s ever seen before.

Moxley was dragged into the ongoing saga surrounding CM Punk in the company after Punk accused the star of losing to him when they were feuding over the AEW World Title when Punk returned to the company following an injury.

Jon Moxley gave his thoughts on that situation noting that he was “bending over backwards” for Punk and Tony Khan at the time as he was competing in AEW without a contract.

Speaking to Renee Paquette on The Sessions, Moxley continued to express some displeasure – to say the least – over the amount of drama in AEW but is clear to point out that the “vast majority” of talent in the company don’t cause any issues:

“As an observer, I spent eight years in the indies, a couple of years in WWE developmental. Eight years in WWE. I have never seen so much bullsh*t drama in one place in my entire f*cking life.

“I hate to say that, and I don’t know if it’s because of the age of social media, sh*t gets blown out of proportion like one person posts a drunk tweet, and all of a sudden it’s all everyone wants to talk about. Let me be clear, the vast majority of people don’t cause any problems there. But they’re getting sucked down into this sh*t like everyone else.”

As a result of Moxley working without a contract over the summer, he reveals that if he’d been so inclined he could have turned up to WWE’s SummerSlam with the AEW World Championship since he was in the same town on the day of the show.
