Jim Ross Taken To ER As Health Battles Continue

Jim Ross

Jim Ross has been dealt another blow as he recovers from his latest health battle as he has taken another trip to the ER.

On May 23rd, Jim Ross announced on social media that he had been taken to the emergency room after struggling with shortness of breath. As a result of the issue, Ross missed AEW Double or Nothing, sitting out the show as he began his recovery.

Ross later gave a positive update on his recovery noting that he hoped to be back in the hot seat for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 30th but he now has dealt with another setback.

Jim Ross Back In The ER

Taking to social media, the AEW announcer revealed he had been forced to take another trip to the ER as he had difficulty breathing:

Another trip to the ER. Difficulty breathing. Likely an overnight stay. I’ll be ok. Let’s fight!

Jim Ross signed a new one-year deal with AEW in March 2024 which will see him call pay-per-views without being involved on Dynamite, Collision, or Rampage. Upon signing the deal, Ross said he expects it to be his last as an announcer.
