Je’Von Evans officially became a part of the WWE main roster on January 5, 2026.

Since then, he has competed in a handful of matches, putting on an impressive showing. However, his bouts have also included dangerous spots, due to which one of his fights was abruptly stopped.

The 21-year-old last competed in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match in the namesake premium live event on February 28.

His match against Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Logan Paul, LA Knight, and Trick Williams would determine the challenger for Drew McIntyre’s WWE Championship at WrestleMania 42.

The bout was ultimately won by Orton, with Evans getting eliminated mid-match by Paul.

His elimination was also seen as a botch by many fans, as he was dropped on his head by The Maverick before he pinned him.

Logan Paul recently addressed the controversy surrounding it during his IMPAULSIVE podcast. The discussion occurred when the 30-year-old defended LA Knight’s botch, where he slipped off the top rope.

It was then when his co-host brought up the criticism involving Paul and Evans.

Je’von Evans, new kid, up-and-comer. I’m the first one to support the kid. I got a tweet dating a couple years ago. I said, ‘Je’von Evans is the future.’

Logan Paul Flips The Script On Je’Von Evans, Claims Injury Not Serious

Despite praising Je’Von Evans for his athleticism, Logan Paul claimed that the ‘Young OG’ failed to flip, which resulted in him landing on his head.

The kid is one of the best flippers in the WWE, but all of a sudden when it comes time to flip with me, he can’t do it. He can’t flip.

Paul also brushed off the severity of the situation that was being projected by the fans online, stating Evans suffered no major injury.

Nothing happened, bro. He got f**ing pulverized. He got pulverized. He got pinned. He’s fine. Put some ice on the neck, do a better flip next time and get going.
