Jade Cargill’s WWE Backstage Heat Compared To Ronda Rousey’s
Jade Cargill’s title challenger was determined at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE.
By the time the opening match on February 28 ended, Rhea Ripley had cemented her place in WrestleMania 42, where she will challenge for the SmackDown championship.
Cargill, meanwhile, sat in one of the VIP seats throughout the match, enjoying watching six women beat the life out of each other inside a cage.
To celebrate her victory, Ripley used one of Cargill’s popular catchphrases while sending a message on social media.
In response, The Storm berated The Eradicated and called her out for politicking backstage with the higher-ups.
Ripley then accused Jade Cargill of lying and wrote that the latter had no friends and did not know how to work. Elsewhere, Chelsea Green and Piper Niven jumped into the interaction while supporting their Australian counterpart.
As fans speculated about their back-and-forth being a work or a shoot, sources within WWE claimed that the company had no part to play in it.
Jade Cargill’s WWE Status Compared To Ronda Rousey’s
Ronda Rousey had two stints in the WWE, none of which ended on a positive note.
Unfortunately, Jade Cargill seems to be heading towards the same path, as reports of backstage discontent and disruptions involving her have been reported occasionally.
On the latest episode of The Coach & Bro podcast, Vince Russo compared her situation to Rousey’s, stating that the 33-year-old may end up distancing herself from potential opportunities.
Russo claimed that wrestlers who are not ‘lifers’ (ones who dream about excelling in a particular field) often end up suffering the worst fate.
This is very similar to the Ronda Rousey story. And that’s the mow that Jade Cargill is cut out of, and usually when you look like her and it wasn’t her hope and her dream to be a wrestler when she was 6 years old, and she looks the way she does and there’s a little jealousy and there’s a little envy, man, they’re gonna come after you and you’re never going to see it coming.
