Jade Cargill Reveals Her Acting Aspirations

Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill is focused on her AEW career as a wrestler, but she also wants to become a successful actor as well.

This past Saturday at AEW Collision in Cleveland, Kris Statlander defeated Robyn Renegade to retain the TBS Title. After the match, Statlander was attacked by Robyn and her sister Charlette. That led to Jade Cargill making her return to AEW TV for the first time since losing the TBS Title to Statlander at Double or Nothing in May.

When Cargill got into the ring, she beat up both of the Renegade Twins. Cargill also got her hands on Statlander and dropped her with a Jaded slam. Clearly, Cargill wants her TBS Title back.

Prior to losing her championship, Jade Cargill had the longest title reign in AEW history when she held the TBS Championship from January 5, 2022 to May 28, 2023 for a total of 508 days. Cargill was 60-0 prior to losing the championship to Statlander, who was a surprise opponent after Cargill had just beaten Taya Valkyrie in a match.

Jade Cargill wants to grow as an actor and hopes Marvel comes calling

While Jade Cargill is enjoying her time as a pro wrestler in AEW, she also hopes to become a serious actor and wants to be a part of the Marvel universe as well.

“After I become a great, I want to segue into acting. I really want to be in Marvel. I’m here right now doing the French Montana music video, and that’s just me getting into acting and getting comfortable with these different roles. Marvel, holler at me, I want to be Storm so damn bad, my entire career and aesthetic for AEW is literally Storm, literally.”

“I’m a strong black woman and I take no crap from anyone. I know myself and I control the weather, when I’m in the ring, I control the audience. I get them to stand up, I get them to cheer, I get them to boo me. You can find nobody better.”
