Jade Cargill On AEW Status – “No Other Place I Want To Be”

Jade Cargill AEW

Jade Cargill has been absent from AEW for several months, but she made it clear she’s still All Elite and happy to be there.

As the first-ever TBS Champion in AEW, Jade Cargill had the longest title reign in company history from January 5, 2022 to May 28, 2023 for a total of 508 days.

When Cargill faced Kris Statlander at AEW Double or Nothing, Cargill had a 60-0 record. Cargill went into that match with no time to prepare while Statlander returned from an injury. Statlander won in quick fashion. Cargill hasn’t been seen since that show in May.

In this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer wrote that “there has been no talk of late regarding if or when Cargill would return to wrestle in AEW.”

Jade Cargill Makes Her Future Intentions Clear

The good news for AEW fans and fans of Jade Cargill is she has no intention of working anywhere else in pro wrestling. She said as much during an appearance on Women’s Wrestling Talk while also praising AEW CEO & GM Tony Khan.

“He’s a phenomenal boss. I can literally hit him up now and he will probably hit me back up in three minutes. And this is a man who owns four companies, like a professional soccer team, Jacksonville Jaguars, he’s busy, he literally comes to every show. He is so passionate.”

“He loves our company, you know, there’s no other place I would want to be. He doesn’t look at me as a number. He looks at me like a human being. And he knows my journey and he understands my purpose in the wrestling community and what I want to achieve, and I don’t think you can beat that.”

Jade also had a message for her fans and even the haters too.

“You hate me, or love me, I’m still making money. I can care less. I love our fans. My fan base is the best, the Jade Cargill fan base is the best. That’s undeniable. You know, I started out with a great, I’m surrounded with nothing but greats and the greats in the wrestling community want me to succeed. There’s nothing that’s gonna stop me from becoming nothing but a household name and a great. So it feels phenomenal that our fans want me back. I mean, why wouldn’t they? Who else is like Jade Cargill? Nobody.”
