Jacob Fatu Has No Plans To Align With Real-Life Bloodline Member In WWE
Jacob Fatu is part of the famous Samoan family in WWE known as the ‘Bloodline’, and recently shared his thoughts on working with one of its members.
Jacob Fatu made his return to WWE in January this year when he interfered in the WWE Championship match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre.
It was a Three Stages of Hell match, and Fatu entered towards the end of the bout in the last stage of hell, which was a cage match, and attacked both McIntyre and Rhodes.
He initially feuded with Cody Rhodes in the following weeks, as his interference had cost Rhodes his Title on that night. But his sights were set on McIntyre as he wanted revenge on The Scottish Psychopath for a previous attack on him from last year.
Now, a feud with McIntyre leading into WrestleMania 42 looks like the most likely option for Jacb Fatu, especially after the pair faced off on SmackDown last week.
In a recent interview with Estaban Ramirez, Fatu was asked about his thoughts on working with real-life relative and SmackDown star, Solo Sikoa.
Jacob Fatu Talks About Future With Solo Sikoa
Fatu and Sikoa first butted heads as part of the Bloodline storyline after Fatu betrayed Sikoa at Money in the Bank last year during his new bloodline faction leadership under the name MFTs.
Sikoa and Fatu would go on to feud, culminating at Night of Champions on June 28.
In the interview with Ramirez, Fatu talked about possibly working with Sikoa in the future.
Fatu revealed that he has a love-hate relationship with Sikoa, but praised Sikoa for his work and currently havign a good thing going with the MFT’s.
Hey man, as of now, the MFTs have got something good going on over there. Do I want to be a part of the group? Come on now. But overall, it’s a love-and-hate type of situation with me and Solo.
Solo was the very first man in WWE that pinned Jacob Fatu. Solo was the man that brought Jacob Fatu up in there.
Let’s keep it 100, those promos – not even promos, that work of art – that Solo was talking about, it’s all 100. It was all real.
Yeah, Jacob didn’t care about nothing but myself. Yeah, Solo did bring me in when nobody wanted to touch me. Yeah, Solo was really looking out, not only in his Bloodline, but in real.
Fatu said that although he can’t answer the question at the moment, their paths will cross eventually.
So yeah, it is love and hate, but overall, they up right now. Now you’ve got Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, JC Mateo. They’re running it right now with The Wyatts, but I can’t even answer your question right now. All I can just say is our paths eventually are going to cross.
