Izzi Dame Set For First NXT Women’s NA Title Defense Next Week

Next week’s episode of WWE NXT will see multiple title matches on the card, making it a huge episode for the black and silver brand. A new NXT Champion is destined to be crowned on the episode.

After Oba Femi relinquished the title, a six-man ladder match was announced for next week’s episode for the title, which has now become a seven-man ladder match.

In addition to that, another NXT Championship will be on the line as Izzi Dame gets in her first defense of the Women’s North American Championship.

Izzi Dame set for triple threat action on NXT next week

Dame won the title at New Year’s Evil after she answered Thea Hail’s open challenge for the championship. Her win over Hail marked Izzi’s first-ever championship win in the company.

She will now defend her title against two of her former opponents, Thea Hail and Lola Vice, in a triple threat match next week. Vice has been vocal about coming after the belt for a few weeks now.

Izzi was attacked by Tatum Paxley on tonight’s show as she was on commentary for Thea’s match, and in the triple threat match next week, Paxley could end up costing Izzi, just like Izzi cost Tatum the NXT Women’s Championship.
