IYO SKY Interrupts Rhea Ripley On WWE SmackDown; Sets Up Huge Main Event Clash

The penultimate episode of WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania 42 aired live from the SAP Center in San Jose, California, as the Road to the Show of Shows heated up.

The episode is scheduled to be an exciting one for the WWE Universe. They are set to witness Royce Keys make his SmackDown debut tonight, with this being his first appearance since the Royal Rumble.

However, the fans had to wait a while as Rhea Ripley kicked off tonight’s show. She was fueled by vengeance as she looked to get revenge on Jade Cargill and her minions for what they did to IYO SKY this past week on RAW.

IYO SKY challenges Jade to a match on WWE SmackDown

She called Cargill out to the ring but, it was IYO whose music hit instead and she came to talk to her tag team partner. She came out to the ring still bandaged from her attack.

Despite visibly not being a 100%, she claimed that she is as angry with Jade as Rhea. SKY added that while she knows Ripley will beat Cargill at WrestleMania, this isn’t her night.

The former Damage CNTRL member said that she wants to face Jade tonight and that she’s going to have a conversation with Nick Aldis about it. Almost immediately, Aldis came out and confirmed that IYO SKY will take on Jade Cargill in the main event tonight.
