House Of Black Make First Post-Malakai Black Appearance

Malakai Black sits in-ring at AEWxNJPW Forbidden Door

The House Of Black are moving on in AEW without their leader Malakai Black.

Brody King, Buddy Matthews, and Julia Hart of House Of Black have officially made their first post-Malakai Black appearance on AEW programming.

According to the Wrestling Observer, the new-look House Of Black made their debut when working the most recent set of AEW Dark: Elevation tapings. Per the report, King and Matthews defeated the team of Isaiah Prince and Kubes in quick and dominant fashion. The group was still referred to as House Of Black and had their normal entrance just, this time, without their leader, Malakai Black.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Malakai Black was granted his conditional release from All Elite Wrestling. While Black is seemingly gone from the company, it’s being reported that some conditions of his release will prevent him from competing in other companies and Black was subsequently pulled from an upcoming indy booking following the news.

AEW has dominated headlines as of late as in case you somehow haven’t heard, at this past weekend’s All Out pay-per-view, former AEW World Champion, CM Punk was involved in a physical altercation with Kenny Omega, Matt, and Nick Jackson.
