He’s Back! Top AEW Star Makes In-Ring Return After 182-Days On Dynamite
AEW Dynamite had an explosive start to the show tonight as a former champion made his long-awaited in-ring return in the promotion, 182 days since surgery.
After being out for more than six months due to a neck injury that he suffered at Forbidden Door 2025, Will Ospreay made a shocking return to the promotion this past weekend at Revolution.
He was scheduled to have his first match, since returning, on the show tonight, and Dynamite kicked off with that bout. Ospreay took on Blake Christian in the opening segment of the show.
Will Ospreay made a huge return to AEW Dynamite tonight
Ospreay had a good outing in the ring tonight as he managed to pick up a vital win over Christian, despite his repeated attacks on Will’s neck. After winning the match, Ospreay called out Jon Moxley and the Death Riders.
He had Moxley lying in the center of the ring after Ospreay had taken care of Wheeler Yuta, but Pac jumped from behind to put him in a submission move, targeting his neck. However, Ospreay didn’t back down even after the attack.
They were marching to the ring for their tag team match with the Bang Bang Gang, but Ospreay jumped them this time and attacked the Death Riders, as he fought his way backstage with someone.
