Forbidden Door? What Forbidden Door! NJPW has released the full Wrestle Kingdom card and it will see both WWE and AEW stars take to the ring in the Tokyo Dome.

New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced the full card for its Wrestle Kingdom 17 event which will take place in the hallowed Tokyo Dome on the 4th of January.

The event will be historic as it will mark the first time WWE and AEW contracted stars have both appeared on a New Japan show. AEW will be represented by Kenny Omega who will face Will Ospreay for the IWGP US Title in a match billed as one half of a double main event. AEW tag team FTR will also be in action as they defend their IWGP Tag Team Championship against World Tag League winners Bishamon.

WWE will have ‘Machine Gun’ Karl Anderson competing on the show as he defends his NEVER Openweight Championship against the man he beat for the title back in June at Dominion, Tama Tonga.

It is also believed that Sasha Banks will be appearing on the show but there is no indication whether or not she will still be bound by a WWE contract when that appearance takes place.
