Ex-WWE Women’s Champion Returns on SmackDown To Cost Rhea Ripley In Huge Match
Fatal Influence has made quite the impression on WWE SmackDown ever since debuting on the blue brand on the SmackDown after WrestleMania 42 as the Jacy Jayne-led group continues to dominate.
They took out the tag team champions, Brie Bella and Paige, in their debut while also attacking Rhea Ripley on the same night. The group has wreaked havoc on the entire women’s division.
Tonight, they were scheduled to take on the team of Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, and the WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, in an exciting six-woman tag team match.
Jade Cargill makes her WWE SmackDown return tonight
The match was evenly balanced between the two teams as both of them got decent attacks in. It seemed like the match would go in favor of Rhea and her team before Fatal Influence capitalized on outside interference.
Just as Ripley was about to tag into the match, she was pulled from the apron by a returning Jade Cargill to take her out of the match. Jayne took advantage of the situation and hit Alexa with a Discuss Elbow strike to get the win.
Following the match, Jade targeted Alexa, and before Charlotte Flair could intervene, she was jumped by Michin and B-Fab. Rhea tried to fight back, but the numbers overpowered her, and Jade Cargill stood tall in the ring alongside B-Fab and Michin as Rhea, Charlotte, and Alexa laid out flat in the ring.
