Ex-WWE & TNA Star Eyes In-Ring Return After 9 Years
Former WWE and TNA star Brooke Adams, aka Brooke Tessmacher, has expressed interest in returning to the ring.
Her last in-ring appearance came around nine years ago, in June 2017 at WOW Extreme Heat in New York City. Shortly after, she stepped away from the industry as she prepared for motherhood and later welcomed her daughter, Phoenix Presley Lee, on October 31, 2018.
Ex-WWE Star Brooke Adams Wants To Return For “One More Ride”
In a recent interview with WrestlingNewsCo., the former TNA Knockouts Champion was asked about the possibility of an in-ring comeback. Adams admitted that the idea does appeal to her, explaining that she feels her wrestling career ended with unfinished business.
However, she emphasized that any return would be strictly limited to a last run to properly close the chapter on her in-ring career, making it clear that she has no intention of resuming a full-time schedule.
I think I would [return]. Because it’s like I feel like when I left, I left giving up the championship, right? I left, and I never had a rematch. So, I feel like for me, and I left to go be a mother, which is one of the, you know, most amazing things, and there’s a lot of women that are not lucky enough to even be able to do that.
So, I needed to walk away so I could be the best mom for my children. But I just feel like I left unfinished business. I don’t want to go and do like four or five years of pro wrestling by any means.
But I would love to go get myself ready, go do it one more time, one more ride, and finish out kind of the full story because I don’t think it’s like it you’re leaving the book open for another chapter if you don’t have a rematch, right? You know, and I just kind of had to, I don’t know, give up my spot to go be a mom. And that’s a hard thing. (From 28:42)
